| Functiebeschrijving: | • Manages and coordinates the department;
• Manages the configuration of the company’s core network and transport platform(s). This will include various technologies such as Fiber Optics, IP, IP Multicast, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, SNMP, and others;
• Manages the installation, operation and maintenance of network equipment used for HSD ("High Speed Data"), Video, and Digital Telephone service offerings;
• Coordinates the development and implementation of methods, procedures and practices related to the network infrastructure. This includes security, network monitoring, disaster recovery, testing, IP, MPLS, VLAN management, network inventory, capacity planning, documentation, routing and various provisioning systems;
• Manages the testing and evaluation of networking products and services used in the network infrastructure.
